This is an opportunity to join a highly skilled team where innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything they do.\n   \n As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to influence product development from the earliest design stages through to manufacture. This role would suit someone who enjoys using SolidWorks to develop innovative products, solve technical challenges and work closely with colleagues across multiple engineering disciplines.\n   \n You'll be joining a supportive environment where your ideas are valued, your development is encouraged and your contribution can have a genuine impact on future product success.\n   \n The Opportunity:\n As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will:\n \nDevelop innovative and practical design solutions.

\nCreate detailed components, assemblies and engineering documentation using SolidWorks. \nPlay a key role in product development projects. \nCollaborate with colleagues across engineering, manufacturing and supply chain functions.

\nSupport prototype development, testing and validation activities. \nIdentify opportunities to improve product performance, reliability and manufacturing efficiency. \nContribute technical expertise throughout the development lifecycle, helping projects progress smoothly from concept through to production.

Your work will directly contribute to the development of innovative products used within demanding industrial environments, supporting continued growth and future technological advancement.\n   \n About You:\n We're looking for someone who can bring:\n \nA degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience. \nPrevious experience within a mechanical design, product development or manufacturing environment. \nStrong SolidWorks experience with the ability to create detailed 3D models, assemblies and technical drawings.

\nExperience producing accurate engineering documentation and working to high standards of quality and precision. \nKnowledge of engineering materials, manufacturing techniques and design best practice. \nPrevious experience using SolidWorks within a product development or engineering environment would be highly beneficial.

\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a practical approach to engineering challenges.
