Mechanical Maintenance Engineer\n\nBirmingham Hospital Site\n£35,000 - £38,000 + Benefits\nDays shifts & 4 on 4 off shifts available\nMultiple Positions Available | Permanent\n\nA leading Global Facilities Management company is currently seeking multiple experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineers to join their team on a prestigious hospital contract in Birmingham. These are additional roles to the existing team.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established Global FM business delivering maintenance services within a critical healthcare environment. The company offers excellent long-term career progression, ongoing training, and the chance to work on a high-profile site with a professional engineering team.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a large hospital site, ensuring all mechanical systems and plant equipment remain fully operational and compliant.\n\nYou will work within a busy healthcare environment where attention to detail, reliability, and a strong understanding of building services maintenance are essential.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nCarrying out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance\nMaintaining and repairing mechanical plant and building services systems\nWorking on pumps, motors, AHUs, FCUs, pipework, valves, HVAC systems, and associated equipment\nFault finding and diagnosing mechanical issues efficiently\nSupporting compliance and ensuring all work is completed to required standards\nLiaising with the site engineering team and client representatives\nEnsuring health & safety procedures are always followed\nCompleting maintenance reports and documentation accuratelyRequirements\n\nNVQ / City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing, HVAC, or equivalent\nPrevious experience within commercial maintenance or facilities management\nStrong mechanical maintenance and fault-finding experience\nExperience working within critical environments is advantageous\nGood communication skills and a professional approachDesirable:\n\nHospital or healthcare maintenance experience\nAP knowledge\nMulti-skilled experienceWhat's On Offer\n\n£35,000 - £38,000\nShifts to choose - Days or 4 on 4 off\nOvertime opportunities\nCompany pension\nHoliday allowance\nOngoing training and development\nGenuine career progression within a leading UK FM business\nStable, long-term contract environmentThis is a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer looking to progress their career within a respected facilities management company operating in a critical healthcare setting.\n\nRG Setsquare is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy
